NC C corporations, S corporations and LLCs taxed as corporations pay franchise tax on NC net worth, minimum $200: C corporations pay at most $500 on the first $1 million, S corporations $200. It is due April 15 on CD-405 or CD-401S. The $50 privilege license ended in 2024.
